I am passionate and dedicated providing treatment that is relational and person-centered, with a focus on integrating cognitive-behavioral, contemporary psychodynamic, and strength-focused to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.
I received my post-secondary education, including my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I received my advanced training at California State University Fullerton, working with young adults from varied cultural backgrounds within the university setting. I have a special interest in working with adolescence and young adults to help navigate the unique challenges of emerging adulthood and identity formation integrating spiritual formation as it fits each persons individual needs. My professional areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationship and communication, identity development, life/role transitions, and academic/career transitions.
In the context of a safe therapeutic relationship, I believe emotional healing can impact our identity and have a profound impact on the way we view and interact with the world. I seek to understand each individual in their cultural and historical context and I accept all of who you are into the work we will do.
On a personal level I love to be outdoors, travel to explore new destinations, read, cook, and spend time with my husband, friends, family, and my dog Azzi. Specialties:
